Eastern Carpet & Upholstery Cleaning was formed in 1971 by George and Diane Gadbois. From the beginning, they have dedicated themselves to providing the best quality cleaning services at the fairest prices in Cumberland and York Counties, along with an "ironclad" guarantee backed by their solid reputation. George and Diane have four grown children. Their boys Tim and Tom work with George in the business. They also have one granddaughter, Alexis, who you have probably seen in our television commercials.

Together, they have over 110 years of combined professional experience. Over the years, thousands of residential and commercial customers have welcomed George and his staff into their homes and businesses and readily call him "George" by name.

We are a certified member of the New England Institute Of Restoration And Cleaning. The Institute has served as the Industry Guardian for the cleaning, inspection and restoration service industries for more than 30 years. To qualify for Institute Certified Firm status businesses must demonstrate proof of insurance, maintain a written customer complaint policy with documented follow-up and provide ongoing education and training leading to certification for all technicians ranging from flooring inspection and cleaning to water and fire damage restoration.
