I scheduled a initial clean 30 days in advance. I emailed with the company back and forth and explained to them the exact services I was looking after reviewing the website for the services they offered and in return the sent me the invoice for those services. Fast forward to the day of the cleaning. The cleaning crew arrived and "cleaned". Upon completion they were preparing to depart when all of the services I signed up for was not complete.
When questioned about the services we were told that they did not do those services. Confused on how they did not offer the services when they are clearly stated on the company website and correspondence went back and forth between them and I about the services I signed up for. I representative called me and told me they did not offer some of the services and the others were an additional charge.
So I asked why was I paying a price I thought I signed up for based on the information I was given? The logical thought in my mind would be to reduce the price for the sole fact that I forwarded them back the very first email explaining what I needed done and no one from the company ever told me the services were not offered but instead they sent me a invoice.
I emailed the company with my complaint and photos but I received no response just took my money. And to put icing on the cake the cleaning that was completed was poor. They failed to clean the mold from the shower, windowsills, and the shower nozzles. The company did a very poor job communicating and cleaning. I would not recommend this company to anyone.

I am very happy with Spouses Cleaning Houses. I have used this service for over a year, and have been so glad to arrive home after a busy day to a well-cleaned house! They are pleasant on the phone, I get a remind message with time frame of arrival, the cleaners are very nice, and they are flexible on changing dates, when family arrives for holidays. The best!

I hired spouses cleaning houses to clean my mothers house. My mother hurt her hip six months ago and has been unable to maintain her home to her satisfaction. The crew came in and did a fabulous job on her house! Thank you for giving me the peace of mine that my mother can now concentrate on her rehabilitation!

I highly recommend you find a different company than spouses cleaning houses to clean your house, especially if you are paying by the hour. I had service done in July where the cleaners were at my house for 2 1/2 hours but I was charge for three hours. After numerous calls, management has refused to speak to me, and has refused to issue a half hour. refund for the time that the cleaners were sitting in their car not cleaning my house.
They claim that they charge by the hour and track the time my GPS tracker in the car, so it appeared that they were at my house for three hours, but they were not cleaning for the full time. Find a more honest company.

Spouses NOT cleaning houses is more like. The home I hired them to clean is in good shape - not perfect, as there are cats - but all three bathrooms are picked up, with only the usual sink items in place. Sure, there are some shreddings on the floor here and there, as we used a shredder recently - vacuum cleaner, hello? Or broom? And some kitty. litter by the litter boxes. did I mention cats? Anyway, they refused to provide service due to the "condition" of the place, and I am displeased. I've hired Maid Brigade, as they aren't scared of a little work.

Is there a 0star rating? Because I would give that. This so called "service" refused to clean a friend's house "due to the condition of the place" and left without a word to the person there at the time. This house is well kept, and in near immaculate condition. The cleaning service was hired to do a cleaning in preparation for my friend's. homecoming from vacation.
There was absolutely NO reason for this company to refuse to provide the advertised service that they were hired to provide. I have friends in other states who own cleaning companies who would rejoice at being hired to clean a house like my friend's, because of the absolute ease of the job, due to the overall cleanliness and neatness of her house. I call sheer laziness on the part of the employees who came out to provide the cleaning and refused to do so.

I am disappointed to have to share this review. I have used spouses cleaning houses for years with satisfaction. After my last cleaning however I found that a set of sheets was missing. I notifind Mindy who asked the team about the sheets. The team indicated the sheets were on my kitchen table chairs. When I indicated that was not the case the team then came back and said they were in a pillowcase next to the door.
There was a pillowcase next to the door with sheets in it but it contained only 1 set but 2 sets of sheets had been changed. I shared that with Mindy who indicated that she wanted customers to be satisfied and although she did not believe the team took the sheets she would look into reimbursement. By the way, there were far more valuable items that could have been taken so I did not believe it to be malicious but the fact of the matter was a set of $200+ sheets went missing during the cleaning.
Also to note is that I have not had the same team that I used to have. Tonight I read Mindy's emails that they did not believe their team was responsible for the missing sheets. They would reimburse me the $75 cleaning fee and terminate my service. I am disappointed because while I do not understand how the sheets went missing, they did and I thought more of this company than what I have experienced.during this incident.
These are the disappointing facts. I did share with Mindy that I would share the outcome on social media and was accused of threateningr her. So be it. At least she wished me well.
