Excel Carpet Cleaning

It's 2021, and Enrique has raised his prices YET AGAIN, and he's still terse, and the carpet STILL comes out looking great at the end. He thought it would take two hours to clean, and it took four. Bottom line, he's STILL cranky, he's STILL crazy expensive, and he's STILL absolutely the best at what he does.

I called Enrique on a Tuesday and he scheduled an appointment for the next day at 8:00 am. Enrique arrived at 7:55 and began to review the areas that we discussed. He was prompt, fair and did an excellent job. I have had carpets cleaned for the last 25 years and Excel was, by far, the best I have ever used. It's approximately 2 weeks later and those heavy stains that usually re appear after a couple of days are completely gone. I would highly recommend Enrique and Excel for proving excellent service.

BUYER BEWARE! This guy is a grumpy man, that can't seem to remember what prices he quoted you. My carpet looks terrible now since he didn't put on the carpet protector that he told me he would--make sure you get it in writing. It was a waste of money having him clean my carpets--Everytime I look at my carpets I get a sick feeling that I had to deal with this guy.

The carpet cleaner showed up dirty. He wiped dirt onto my carpet when he came in! I pointed out the welcome mat for him to use, but he merely grunted. After I showed him two areas that had pet urine, he explained how to clean it. Then, he told me he would not do the job because the room stank too much! He also told me the carpet had changed color where the urine was.

I moved my foot on the carpet to show him it was just the direction the carpet was facing because I'd vaccumed it. It was all the same color. He agreed, but still walked away and even stepped on the dirt he'd brought in.

I called on a Tuesday and they were able to come out that Thursday to clean our carpets. Our carpets looked dreadful (that's even an understatement) after four years of foot traffic and so much other crap but Enrique made them look new again. I highly recommend his services to anyone looking for carpet cleaning. He was prompt, easy to work with, and a joy to work with. Definitely going to make this an annual event. Thanks!

Enrique was honest, professional and determined to exceed expectations as We recently purchased our home and paid a different vendor to clean our stone floors only to be extremely disappointed. The other guy had half a dozen excuses as to why the floors couldn't be restored. I saw Enrique providing service to our neighbors house and when I asked about him, they raved about him and said their Mom highly recommended him to them. Enrique worked triple time to get our floors back to their former glory and did a fantastic job! Highly recommend.

A friend who had used Excel recommended them to me. I was moving out of my two bedroom condo and needed the carpets cleaned. I had emailed Excel prior to the appointment to provide the sizes of the carpeted areas, to get an estimate. However upon arrival he gave me a price that was twice what was initially agreed upon. He was trying to convince me that the small walk-in closet in the Master bedroom, should be considered a completely separate room. What? No.

I included the space for the walk-in when I sent him the initial dimensions. Then he insisted that the master should be considered two rooms and that the throw rugs in the living room, which were smaller than the smallest bedroom would cost more than the Master bedroom. I was confused and honestly, very annoyed. I then reminded him that I received an estimate email from him that was half of what he was now quoting me.

He asked to see the email, which I showed him and his email response. Only then did he go back to the original quoted cost. It was only later, when I spoke to my friends that I realized how much he ripped me off. What he charged me for two bedrooms, and two throw rugs - was the same cost that my friends paid for an ENTIRE FOUR BEDROOM HOUSE. This guy is a joke. If you want to be ripped off.call him. Otherwise find someone else.

Enrique arrived on time and did an excellent job. Took care to protect furniture and cabinets. Carpets and especially stairs look great! And they were dry by evening! I will use Excel from now on and have referred them to two of my friends already. I highly recommend Excel.

I have a rental unit that had HUGE spots- one 2'x4'! - in the carpet. The carpet was in good shape but the size of the dirty spots was gross. I thought I'd have to replace the carpet because nobody would move in if they saw the spots. Enrique not only got out every spot, but he showed me an actual line in the living room that appeared as they cleaned.

I took a picture thinking my family would never believe it. The unit is at the beach and dirt and sand blow in from the French doors. The carpet is a pale color and when they were done it was several shades lighter everywhere. This is a 10+ year old carpet. They had large "scrubber" equipment and strong suction equipment. The suction must've been tremendous because the carpet took almost no time to dry. I know the more water you get out, the more dirt you get out. I asked for several cards to pass out to friends.

Very good service. Have used them about 4 times. carpet always looks great after. A little pricey but overall worth it.

From the first call to Enrique, the whole experience was fantastic. We needed all of the carpets in a 2 story 2800 sq. foot home cleaned prior to selling the home. The home has very light colored carpet that had terrible stains in several areas. Enrique quoted me a price over the phone of $550 that I felt was very fair, especially knowing the stains they would be dealing with.

Everyone was shocked on how well the carpets came out. No stains and no pet odor. The real estate agent emailed me saying how she couldn't believe that was the same carpet and there was no pet odor! Another cool thing is they offer handyman services. I found them on Angie's List where they have over 170 reviews and an A rating. They have also won the Angie's List Super Service Award for the last several years. I question the the 1 star review as Angie's List has so many positive reviews. Thank you Enrique for a fantastic job and I look forward to recommending your services.

They did a reasonable job cleaning the carpets at my house in Anaheim Hills and took out some old stains and spots. They were professional and friendly. My reasons for the low rating is that Enrique the owner lied to me. I asked him to scotch guard my carpets and Enrique charged me extra for the service and then did not do it. If you are there to supervise these guys from start to finish, then maybe they will work for you.

But if you don't like to micro manage people or be cheated, then hire someone else. I personally will not use them again. I considered using a hidden cam to record his shenanigans and take him to small claims court but decided it was not worth my time.

I recently used Excel Carpet Cleaning and they did a fantastic job. I was very pleased with service and I will continue to use them. I have used many carpet cleaning services in the past and this one has been the best. I appreciated that they were on time, family owned, and courteous. I also liked that they were on Angie's list and highly recommended.

I get my carpets cleaned about every six months. This was the first time I used Excel (found on Angie's List). Excellent carpet cleaning, customer service and attention to detail. They even used corner protectors on walls and furniture so the hose wouldn't make a mark. I also found them to be competitively priced. Gave me one hour window of arrival and called 30 minutes prior to appointment to let me know on their way. Highly recommend Excel and will recommend to my real estate clients.
