The C.E. Meyer Corporation was founded in 1975 by Master Cleaner, C. Edward Meyer. In 2001, the Frank Reid family became owners of the corporation, and Mr. Meyer trained Morgan Reid (Vice President of Sales and Service) in the art of fine fabric and rug cleaning, teaching him both the techniques and the chemistry of the trade. Morgan went on to receive training from a Navajo Indian based in Oklahoma who is an expert on the cleaning and care of tapestry woven rugs.
Morgan continued his training under another Master Cleaner, perfecting his leather cleaning skills. Our customers are the beneficiaries of this training. The fabrics and rugs in your home are works of art. Choose a cleaner who will treat them as such, using techniques and tools handed down by master cleaners who see themselves as artists, as well. Our business is built on individualized customer satisfaction, with designers, upholsterers, realtors, and families choosing CE Meyer-Reid because of our extensive and specialized service. Our Mission is to provide individualized service with the finest results in cleaning and restoration.

Report
Oriental rugs are treasures, and should be treated as such. C.E.Meyer-Reid uses only the gentlest, cleaning methods, and everything is cleaned by hand. Technicians assess tears, stains, and damage from wear, and work to restore these to a "like-new" condition. New, hand-knotted fringe may be added, and when sun or Clorox bleaches areas, these are re-dyed by hand. Bleeding of colors, often caused by cat and dog urine, can be addressed - and often totally corrected. C.E. Meyer-Reid will advise you of any repairs needed.
