We have used another carpet cleaner for over 20 years. This time we decided to try Steam Sweepers and are delighted with their work. Adam was professional, thorough, considerate and his customer service was superb! We will definitely use Steam Sweepers in the future. You will be thrilled with the results. I'd be happy to recommend Steam Sweepers. They cleaned two area rugs for me, and they were wonderful in doing it. They did a beautiful job cleaning the rugs! They also made wonderful recommendations for maintaining, for upkeep, and for care.

This is a business specifically focused on cleaning oriental and other fine rugs. They wash them in a large pan and then hang them to dry. In my relatively uninformed opinion I think this is the way wool or silk carpets should be cleaned. It's not cheap, but the results are excellent and I believe contribute to the life of the rug. Don't pay for dog urine cleaning\deodorizer didn't work in three wool rugs I had cleaned. Waste of money. The cleaning for light debris was worth it. Pick up and drop off was very nice.

Purchased a beautiful Karastan hall runner rug from an estate sale with two large stains. I was unable to get the stains out with stain remover and a Hoover rug cleaner. The tech at Steam Sweepers didn't think it would be a problem and he was right. The rug came back looking brand new for a very reasonable cost. Great customer service. The rug came back sooner than expected. We will be bringing more area rugs to them when the need arises. Very pleased.

I just wanted my wool rugs, a Chinese and a Tibetan, really cleaned. Picked Steam Sweepers from the internet and am completely satisfied. Not cheap, but REALLY clean!

We had them come in and clean our carpets and they removed all of the stains without any problem. They did our carpeted stairs as well and it all turned out great!

We had a rug cleaned my daughter's dog had used as a commode and then it was rolled up for 1 1/2 years in storage. The odor was horrible. Steam Sweepers assured me they could get it clean and they did, no more odor. I was amazed. They also did a wonderful job with our other oriental rugs. I would highly recommend them. They were also nice individuals to work with and promptly returned all four carpets in one weeks time.

This is the first time we have had our carpets cleaned since instillation almost a year ago. When the carpets were first installed, I got the wise advice from the installer to "find a small company with a good reputation to do the work" vs going with a large chain. I am glad I followed that advice and chose Steam Sweepers. From the first phone call I received great customer service. Adam and I discussed my options and arranged a time, with consideration that I would not be home and Adam would be faced with my slobbering dog (and cats). Adam did not seemed phased and when I came home that night the animals were happy and the carpets looked brand new. Everything went well, per our plan. Steam Sweepers is my go to company now and it's my pleasure to recommend them.

Adam cleaned our carpets a couple of days ago, and he exceeded my expectations. My carpeting is ten years old and I was considering replacing it, but I have a puppy and lots of kids coming through so I thought I would try having my carpets cleaned one more time. Despite puppy accidents, soda spills, muddy paws, soccer cleats.my floors now look brand new! And my home smells so fresh! My kids think Adam worked "a miracle", and I wholeheartedly agree. Horrible customer service. Before he even sees all of the rooms tells me that I chose the wrong kind of carpet (trying to be "helpful" I think, but he was just rude from the get-go) He Showed up to do a blacklight test (To test for pet stains) didn't bring the light and proceeded to try and tell me about his busy day. I did not want to hear excuses! Stunned- asked me if I wanted to go get it.isn't that what I made the appointment for? Came back and did a horribly fast job and was a jerk because I didn't want to hear about his day/excuse for not bringing the proper equipment. Then he proceeds to now tell me he does not do rentals. I was upfront when I made the appointment. Wasted both of our time. Stupid.

I spent a week babysitting a dog with serious digestive problems! My white carpet looked TERRIBLE! Adam was a miracle worker! My carpet looks amazing!

Absolutely fabulous company. I called and they talked me through their process for cleaning an antique Persian carpet. They do offer pick up and drop off but I drove my rug into their location in Bellingham. They were wonderful. Never pushed additional services, but did tell me what they thought would be best for our rug. Their prices are reasonable and they do an amazing job! Our bedraggled old Persian looks fantastic and almost new again : We will be bringing our other rugs here in the future also.

Before calling Steam Sweepers I had called a different carpet cleaning service and was told their service would be able to clean my rug and permanently remove the unpleasant odor of a synthetic coming from it. As a result of this response I decided to get a second opinion and called Steam Sweepers. Art (the owner) was able to answer my call immediately.

He said he would call me back shortly because he was presently busy with another customer on the phone. He returned my call promptly. He demonstrated reliability with great phone communication. I explained to Art I had a 9'x12' tufted wool rug which began smelling of a strong odor of synthetic rubber. I asked if he would be able to clean my rug to remove the smell.

I told him I thought the odor was coming from the non-skid rug pad, and not the rug. Art said the odor wasn't originating from the pad but was coming from the rug itself. Art informed me, although my rug's label said 100% wool, some rugs with defective backings (undersides) were originally made improperly with a particular bad batch of latex adhesive, As a result of this, sometimes they will emit an odor when the carpet ages.

He was very honest with me and said unfortunately cleaning would not remove the odor. I thanked Art for his knowledge and integrity. He saved me from the cleaning expense and further problems with my rug. It was my first time I called Steam Sweepers, and I was given clearly understood answers to my rug questions. I also appreciate Art did not make any sales attempt at pressuring me into having my other rugs or carpets cleaned.

Art had nothing to gain from my call but he took the extra time to assist me with his valuable knowledge. I followed up the phone call and contacted the high end store where I purchased the rug. The furniture/ design store confirmed Art's diagnosis. The store said they will provide me a new replacement rug for free, due to the defect. The store no longer sells rugs with this latex issue.

Thanks to Art again. I would have never thought of contacting the store where I purchased the rug because my rug was a few years old and I didn't know it was defective. Art not only knows about proper cleaning procedures but also knows about rug construction, and it allowed me to move forward with a positive solution. When the time comes for my other rugs and carpeting to be cleaned Steam Sweepers has earned my trust to provide the reliable and appropriate cleaning service. Nancy M. Anacortes, Wa
