We are a family run business established in 1976. After 33 years we continue to strive for that small family run atmosphere and quality workmanship that comes with longevity and pride of ownership. Charles B. Owens

President

Chuck moved to the Salem area in 1963 at the age of 6 and has lived here since. He graduated from Salem Academy High School in 1974 and then attended Northwest Nazarene College for 2 years, when his father asked him to come home to help start a janitorial business during his summer break.

Chad E. Owens

Vice President

Chad has lived in Salem all his life. He started helping his dad and grandpa at the age of 13 cleaning carpet in the summer and on weekends. Chad graduated from Salem Academy High School in 1999. He married Sarah in 2002 and graduated from Northwest Nazarene University in 2004. Upon graduation Chad and Sarah came back to Salem and Chad has worked full time at Efficient since then.

Donna J. Owens

Administrative Assistant

Donna was born in Salem and has lived here all her life. She graduated from South Salem High School in 1975 and attended Northwest Nazarene College for one year before coming back to Salem to pursue a career in banking. She married Chuck in 1977. Upon the birth of their first child, Chad, Donna decided to become at stay at home mom and began to work part time for Efficient in 1981.

I have used Efficient Carpet Cleaners for years. When I heard there was a new owner I was concerned. The new owner was on time and did a great job on my old carpet. There was no strong soap smell when he was done. The carpet dried fast and was nice and soft to walk on. The new owner knows the business and how/what to use to clean your carpets. He was personable when I asked a question he took the time to answer. I will use his services again. Thanks Efficient for a clean carpet. Jeff

I was referred to Chad after the person I had lined up to clean our carpets no-showed the day of! These guys did an awesome job and they fit me in same day, which I was so thankful for since we had already cleared out the living room in anticipation of the other guy doing it. Very friendly, professional and EFFICIENT, I highly recommend them.
